We wanted a community activity where everyone in town would read one book and we wanted the children to be involved.

The audition is the final performance.

The 'Wizard of Oz' has many layers to it and has sentimental value for many adults.

I'm very grateful to the community and agencies for their support throughout the year.

The last 18 months of planning have strengthened this community and built relationships between different groups that didn't exist before. In that way, we feel like we've already succeeded in bringing people together.

My first task is to get [the children] back in school where they belong. But it has to be under a safe environment.
