We wanted the kids to create something to put their emotions on paper. Most of the kids said they always saw Dominic smiling.

We were shocked and saddened to hear this. He was such a courteous and polite boy. Everyone wanted to be his friend.

We just never recovered from that. With these young kids, they're wearing their emotions on their sleeve. One bad play, or a play that goes like that, leads to a second, and then even more.

It's definitely the most intense game we've played this year. The kids were fighting hard. They needed breathers. Emotions were really high.

The trickiest part is helping kids manage some of the negative emotions they experience. Children can learn a lot about handling frustration as a part of the sibling relationship. Brothers and sisters can be awfully frustrating.

The high sentiments always win in the end, the leaders who offer blood, toil, tears, and sweat always get more out of their followers than those who offer safety and a good time. When it comes to the pinch, human beings are heroic.
