We wanted to shake off (the Nogales) game as soon as we could and show everyone else that we are going to be right there.

Amazing. I knew that if we won it was going to be a great feeling, but I never thought it was going to be this big.

We've got amazing young talent and we're just going to keep getting better every year. When I go out, I know exactly who is going to take my spot and next year he's going to be 10 times better than I was this year.

I honestly thought it was going to be much closer. We came mentally prepared and ready to go.

Curses. Jesus. It took all kinds. There wasn't anything to a curse but words. Just like blessings and prayers and all the rest of it. People used words to try to change what they should be changing with their own two hands. And if the problem was too big to fix, no words called up into the air would make a lick of difference.
