We were a .500 team and not very impressive. Lately, we've upped it a bit and a lot of players are playing their best ball all year.

I had a rant and lost it a bit but lost it for the team not for myself. These players have given everything they can for our supporters and they deserved better than what they got that day from a small section of fans.

This is kind of a 'Joe' team. There really are not many name players on the team. It doesn't mean that there aren't some talented players on the team, but there are certainly no big-name players on the team. It's indicative of the fact that we're all the same. They just come in every day and grind it out.

I have to hand it to them. They run a very quick offense. They have small, quick outside hitters who can hit a very low set. We had a lot of trouble getting two blockers on them, and we weren't skilled enough to beat them one on one.

I hope it's only a sprain. We're just verifying there are no broken bones. In any case, we won't be looking for him to play for a while.

Playing down to their level is usually a problem, but we have to have a mind-set that we're going to play hard before we get there. Last year they had all the emotion and we were lucky to get out of there with a win, and they're going to be excited about playing us again.
