We were extremely pleased with the crowds on the seawall and with the turnout at the carnival.

If the weather is good, we expect attendance to be exceptional.

The vast majority of people buy their tickets at the gate.

Carnival has nothing at stake here and therefore has no downside, ... We, on the other hand, have a valuable transaction that could be put at risk.

There is a private side to Carnival. It started as an event that we did for ourselves and it still is. The economic side is monumental and it's good for the city. But we chose to do this for us.

I kind of like things slightly out of tune. It makes me feel... intoxicated almost... but in a good way. Like I'm at a carnival in a dream. Not sure that makes sense, but I do have pretty good pitch recognition. I see colors for different key signatures, notes, etc.
