We were getting frustrated in the first half. We had to come out focused in the second half and play with more intensity.

I was kind of upset (about not being able to play much). I tried so hard to play on it, but I couldn't. That was disappointing to me.

Coach Helfer was recruiting another player on the team and he saw me play and he liked me. I wasn't sure at first, but I saw the banners (hanging in the gym) and the players looked pretty good, so I thought it would be nice to be here.

It's hard to play when you're short-handed. But on this team, everyone has their night.

Everybody used to always come up to me and tell me that I needed to play basketball. They said I was too tall not to have a basketball in my hands. The comments by other people got me interested in the game.
