We were hit hard by graduation, but I think the kids are ready to step in and fill that void and do everything they can to go get (another region title).

We've worked really hard to put ourselves in the position we've put ourselves in. We've been successful, and I think everything the kids have they're earned and worked for.

That's always the goal, to beat Highlands. I think both teams enjoy (the rivalry) and more than anything I think there's a mutual respect. Come the end of May, I think we both know it will come down to us fighting for that first place (region) trophy.

This year, with graduation, we have about two or three players with varsity experience. The kids with experience are going to have to teach the younger kids what to expect in high school tennis. We have a lot of good kids out. It's going to be fun to work with them this season.

I think offense will be our strength. We lost a lot to graduation in the back, so that's where we're trying to catch up.

No kids who have come to Project Graduation have ever been in an accident that night.
