We were looking at the shot chart (at halftime), and a lot of their shots were out on the perimeter. Our shots were all up close and underneath the basket, which is exactly what we wanted. I told the guys that we've just got to put the ball in the basket.

They were going to have to make perimeter shots and we were going to double down. They (Polar Bears) made enough of them.

I couldn't hit a shot. I've never had so many shots go in and out. But we won, that's all that's important.

That was a first for one of my teams. It tells you we were settling for perimeter shots and not looking to drive and create.

Everybody shrinks the box. The [defensive] triangle is so tight now that everybody is blocking shots off the perimeter shots. And if you have a good goaltender, he just becomes that extra guy. And the guys are impatient trying to score, and they try to blast it through the goaltender. It seems to be anyway that the down low play doesn't work any more.

They had the state the governor had the state policemen there to go around the perimeter and investigate, looking for someone that may have like a listening device or whatever.
