We were next to the train tracks in Union Square, in this small loft space. A lot of people, especially from the suburbs, thought it was kind of a sketchy area. It's so industrial, there's nothing going on there at night.

It's a huge move for us. Since we became a nonprofit, we've been steadily expanding our programming, offering fellowships, making the organization do much more programmatically. But we've been limited by our space.

People who are for things don't usually go out and say something, it's usually people that are against something that does.

I worship God. Religion and worship are two different things to me. Religion is by the book. I think too many people rely on the textbook: 'OK, it says to do this and it says to do that, so if I do this, this, and that, then I still can go out and do wrong because I did this, this, and that.'
