(We were) offensively pathetic against their number one pitcher, who is one of the best in the region. He overpowered the hitters and like clockwork got ahead in the count, thus we only got four hits.

It's definitely frustrating. We're not hitting the ball at all. It's tough to be as pathetic offensively as we've been.

This number is a one-month number. I would really be hesitant to make a trend out of this. If you strip out oil, these numbers do not look so bad and, especially in the producer price area, prices are still falling and this tells me that the pipeline does not have inflation in it.

Nathan is our number one shortstop. He's one of the best shortstops we've had here. He does a great job of getting to the ball quickly and he's got a strong arm. He proves you don't have to be in the lineup because of your offensive capability. He's just a solid defensive player.

The most important thing about my pitching is that I'm satisfied, that I know I'm being the best pitcher I can be.
