We were really excited that she (Raquel) was pregnant, since that was our goal. It wasn't until I was about three months when we all started to get really excited about me.

Our ultimate goal was for Raquel to get pregnant, so we were very excited about that. I've been through so many disappointments. We were excited that I was pregnant also, but with my history, we were still a little guarded.

She offered about three years ago to be a surrogate and we were hoping we wouldn't have to be faced with that and hoping to have a child on our own, and when the doctor said that's our last chance to have a baby no our own -- is to have a surrogate, we called Raquel, and she was so honored that we came back and asked her, she started crying.

I'd like to be pregnant...

I'm excited about the opportunity to return to Michigan State. This has been a dream and a goal of mine.
