As coach, I could have asked for nothing more from Matthew as a player and as the captain of the Port Adelaide Football Club for the past five years,

I talked to coach Schintzius, and he had video we've been able to watch - from everything we've pieced together, they've broken a lot of teams down with their press. We have to figure out how to handle the pressure. That's been our calling card, too.

It is a little harder now, because every coach knows about players, and there aren't many gems who get overlooked. But this game was a perfect opportunity to see what other players could do. It is nice to see these guys get rewarded with playing time.
