We were so pumped up last night for our two girls. I think they were just as pumped up for their girl. They started with more energy than us. We caught back up, but we never took the lead.

Senior night can go one of two ways. It can either get your emotions stirred up early and you can come out flat, or it can get you fired up and come out hard. We came out strong and with lots of intensity.

We were chipping away inning by inning. The girls have been in that situation before, we beat Coleman in our last at-bat, so they understood what it was going to take. They gave it the best shot they could. They've never given up at any time this season and they've always given me 110 percent.

I went out last night and all the girls ignored me.

The girls played hard and it was just our night.

I think we realized that we blew a game last night (against Richland Northeast) we should have had. The girls were more focused tonight and we didn't turn the ball over late like we did against the Cavaliers.
