We were telling the same kids over and over to dispose of their alcohol. It was getting to be enough.

There is an option for students to have parties with alcohol outside. We offer the party class, and give the opportunity to register a party with a beer garden.

When people drink in public areas, it is not fair to the students who follow the rules for their parties.

Kids know what parties are going to have alcohol and what parties won't.

What we know from the brain research is that kids and alcohol don't mix. It impacts their frontal lobe so decision making judgment and risk taking increases. So it's a double mix of danger.

Hopefully the message is getting out and the kids are getting wise on what drugs and alcohol can do.
