We were told at the beginning of the war, 'a few billion dollars and then Iraqi oil will pay for everything.' We're now looking at $320 billion that have been spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The coffin represents the massive casualties we're seeing in the war in Iraq.

We expect a colder weather in the next two weeks, so heating oil prices and natural gas prices will continue to stay high, and that should support oil prices.

Energy stocks will fall more if oil prices pull back further.

There's not enough natural gas to substitute for heating oil. So this will help support crude oil prices. What we need is not (crude) oil but heating oil and natural gas. Unfortunately, there's no strategic reserves for them.

We do not want war for oil, which will leave a trail of blood of innocent lives in Iraq and of American and British soldiers. We want to live in a world where peace, democracy and security are enshrined in the United Nations charter.
