We were too passive. I'm very disappointed in our outfield play.

We were more ready to play than I even thought we were going in. Even during the infield/outfield drills before the game, I don't think we've been that sharp in over two years. That's the kind of things a coach looks for early on. The guys couldn't understand why I was smiling so much before the game started.

I am disappointed we didn't get something because I thought our play merited it.

You get disappointed about what happened, but ultimately we came to play. What happened is over with. We just have to go out there and do our best.

I pitched and I played the outfield.

Our outfield could be really good.
