We were trailing 30-28 heading into the final match. We bumped up our 125-pound wrestler, Steve Cox, to 130 and he came through with a pin for us to win. It was unbelievable.

We were the underdog today, and prevailed. That's the best thing about it.

This is our biggest win, and to do it with a pin doesn't get any better. But just getting there (Battle Creek) is never good enough. We have to reset our goals now, and we'll do that first thing tomorrow. We had three goals this year -- win a district, set the school record for wins and get to Battle Creek, and we've accomplished those.

It's just great to be able to help a few people. I'm having fun with friends and I get to worship God.

This is a real exciting time. I love that no one is giving us a chance.

I personally called the police about four times; they knew that there was a problem. This child was overwhelmed. She had six kids living in a DHS one bedroom apartment, and she needed help.
