We were very impressed with Kelly's goals for a basketball program. He is a great family man, he has three kids all under 4 years old (Zachary, Noah and Joshua), and so we thought he would be a great fit for us here at Grace Community.

This has nothing to do with basketball. Jason was a friend, a family man and a first-class person. We're going to miss him.

It was fun in Sacramento, man. The way they played basketball was great. It's a great place for a family, a great place when it comes to unselfish team basketball. Those guys really pass the ball, really work with each other.

In the game of football, there's a lot of passion involved. To have a young man missing from your family, it makes you look at things with a different mindset. We've raised funds every year, but this year, there's no doubt what our fund-raiser was going to be.

But the Cahill family has played basketball since they were little, and we're reaping the rewards now.

We played about 10 minutes of real good basketball. I don't know if it was our best stretch this season, but we played strong.
