We would like to engage the community in this effort. We want to make this a community project, not just a historical project.

I think it's great. As long as they're not moving out of the community.

As a community, what does it mean if we look back and are ashamed we let whole civilizations be destroyed? Sometimes we have to do things just because they are the right things to do.

We're making a special effort this year to identify the health seeker, that person who starts and stops a fitness program. We're trying to figure out what they want and tailor our programs to them and send personal phone calls, letters and e-mails to hook them up with other members to keep them motivated.

Every community has had to identify emergency dispensing sites in the event of a mass vaccination effort.

With all them being involved, it makes more of a community effort out of the whole event, which is what keeps the whole homecoming idea alive. And the result of that is something that's lasted longer than any of us, and hopefully it'll continue doing that.
