When I was a 21-year-old intern at CBS, I was told I had crossed eyes and shouldn't try to be on air. That's when I decided I was going to be behind the scenes.

The guys were out there for over twelve hours yesterday, from sunrise to sunset. I've got to admit, there was some fatigue. But they came out today with some enthusiasm and created a lot of energy.

A show can be completely dead before you even get on the air. I've been privy to a couple of those.
