We'll be able to do something with these instead of grind 'em up.

This is my 25th book over 28 years, and to still be able to write a book and be a best seller again is remarkable. I'm impressed, myself, and very grateful.

I didn't want readers to have to make allowances for what they couldn't see, but to be able to say to themselves that the fabric of the magic detailed was perfectly believable.

Sometimes the wheels of justice grind slowly.

We had to get stops the old-fashioned way. We were able to get a lot of stops and grind it out against them. We just had to use a tempo we aren't used too.

All those close losses, not able to let a big lead hold ... instead of folding, we finished strong. It's been tough on us, but I'm proud of them because they stayed positive. The kids deserve a lot of credit.
