Well-spent aid money is saving lives for a few thousand dollars per life saved.

India is more of an aid recipient than a provider of aid.

Software, by being comprehensive, can save costs by avoiding add-on pieces of software. We can save money in terms of speed of development or by being able to run on less expensive hardware.

They are still working, still saving lives, ... They don't give up.

Thirty thousand dollars is 180,000 rand. And $180,000 is a lot more than that over there.
