We're all born with the survival instinct. But I think the true survivors, who get out of really bad situations, are ones who have lived in a certain way that directs them towards survival,

The word 'experienced' often refers to someone who's gotten away with doing the wrong thing more frequently than you have.

Hey, this has been said before over the past century or so. But there's a survival instinct going on that is demonstrated on a small scale here.

When your own life is threatened, your sense of empathy is blunted by a terrible, selfish hunger for survival.
