We're fortunate to have so much depth. We wanted to rest some of the varsity kids and let the JV girls show what they could do.

Floor was awesome. We were really clean. Overall, I thought it was a really good meet for us.

I would be lying if I told you I wasn't disappointed because I really wanted to be in the top five and I think we were certainly capable of being in the top five. But I'm not disappointed in the way the girls performed. I was very proud of them and they really left it all out on the mat.

It will ignite excitement for our team. The ones who watch Friday are going to be anxious to get out and join the team.

(The beam) is the make or break event. If you don't stay on, nobody's going anywhere. We've really been focusing on whatever it takes to stay on the beam. They were really big beam scores. We have to be realistic when we go to sectionals; I don't know if we'll see those scores again.

He forgets homework, has to be prodded to do his chores and gets grounded just like other kids. We have to remind him about daily stuff. He's a pain in the butt to his brothers and sister. I don't want him to have to be Super Kid.
