We're giving back because we have been so well taken care of.

When we give freely, we feel full and complete; when we withhold, we feel small, petty, impotent, and lacking. We are meant to learn this great truth, that giving fulfills us, while withholding and trying to get causes us to feel empty and even more needy. This truth runs counter to our programming, which drives us to try to get something from others to fulfill our neediness, only to end up even more needy, grasping, lacking, and unfulfilled.

Access to the banking system is a critical piece of their ability to save. Giving them that access is a social, political and moral imperative.

It's all about giving the customer better information.

Stuff like that happens in baseball. We have been playing well and when you are giving it all you have sometimes there is just nothing you can do about it. You just have to get ready for tomorrow and get back to playing well.

This is a communiversity fall festival, our fifth year. We do this as part of giving back to the community. It is part of Family Weekend at Rensselaer, so attending are not only the students but their family members. We've got more than 1,500 family members here today.
