We're going to be looking sparkly next Christmas. We want to be the heart and soul of the community … downtown.

Proceeds from this event will go towards our new downtown Christmas decorations. We have picked out the decorations, this event will help pay for them.

I believe it will become the heart and soul of the community. We'll have a capacity of 400 people, which is the same size as the Gem Theatre in Detroit. It's going to be a focal point of the community.

The earth has grown old with its burden of care but at Christmas it always is young, The heart of the jewel burns lustrous and fair and its soul full of music breaks the air, when the song of angels is sung.

The community has always been very supportive of the show. I was getting calls before Christmas from people wanting to know who was coming.

For most of them, Christmas is not a good day. For some of them, Christmas is the worst day, because they're not with their family.
