We're going to change our philosophy on defense. We were a little passive last year. We have some kids who can play man coverage, so we might be able to come after teams a little more. We don't want to be sitting ducks like we were last year.

I don't think so. Dave's philosophy is that you have a rock-solid defense, and you complement it with a strong running game. We like to run the football. I'm sure we'll take into account the strengths of the guys we have here and try to play to their specific skills.

Our philosophy is to have an offense for every defense thrown at you. We try to respond to whatever we see. We just like to keep it simple. (Kennedy) is getting better, and he's having better decisions to make.
