We're going to play through it. I know it. It's just, we got to keep our heads up. It's frustrating. I'm frustrated. But we're going to learn from our mistakes.

His No. 1 mandate is his performance on the ice. If he doesn't (play well), that wouldn't pay off for us.

I know some guys that will do anything to stay here or play here or do whatever. Hey man, be honest with yourself. Because you have to look at yourself in the mirror and say, 'Am I good enough or not good enough?' That's the way it is. I've been a coach long enough to realize the nature of this business and what you have to do. I know a lot of things have happened the past few years. I know the fan base is really upset with the way we've played, and they should be.

We don?t even think about people putting us in first. We just go out and play.

We knew their defense was going to cause us to play faster than we're used to. A lot of times that leads to poor execution and turnovers. We had a good week of practice preparing for this weekend and one of the things this weekend was being able to execute offensively at a higher pace, and we were able to do that.

After they beat us, I was pleased to see us play with more confidence.
