We're gonna bring in different songs and play for two hours. That's our new thing. We never played for two hours in our whole career. We thought we would die, but now when I get onstage, I want to do more. So it might be more, you never know.

I don't do any songs that I'm sick of now - sometimes even songs that I request. If I'm sick of 'em I don't do 'em even for myself.

I feel like I'm waving the flag for musicianship, trying to bring back bands that can play.

She came up for a week and we jammed. I think we wrote like six songs for the record that week. When it actually came time to record, she flew in for a week. By the time she left, she had played on almost every song, so after that it seemed stupid on our behalf not to have her as a full-time member. It's always healthy to add something. Forget the fact that the band is called Boys Night Out.

You gotta know what the songs are about, otherwise you don't know how to play them. If it's about a rough guy, you play it a bit rougher or something like that.
