We're grateful to have a decision at last that keeping prisoner identities secret is against the public policy and the law of this country.

What you always do before you make a decision is consult. The best public policy is made when you are listening to people who are going to be impacted. Then, once a policy is determined, you call on them to help you sell it.

You've got the foxes guarding the hen house, and that is never a good way to make public policy,

It's not being driven by public policy.

Remember we put a cap on benefit passing, a $250 cap, and I think public policy in this state is we don't want to see large benefit passing. And, indeed, we're not seeing it.

They're working in a public venue on public-policy issues, so why shouldn't their fees be made public? It's such a spin to say that this isn't fair to them or an invasion of their privacy.
