We're headed in the right direction. Each game, we've had different players stepping up.

I think the play from the bench tonight is a step in the right direction. Our kids are starting to understand that's an unselfish thing they can do for Galesburg basketball.

The kids are excited. They learned pretty early on they have something to play for. When they got off to a good start they started to believe they could win.

The kids went into that game with the attitude that they had nothing to lose. They wanted to test themselves, and they put up a good fight. It's the first game we've played three complete periods.

In your heart you feel like you're doing the right thing, because, ultimately, honesty is your gift to these people who are willing to listen to your music, ... Changing is part of that. You've got to change, and that's hard.

What I've thus far reviewed has projected me to the conclusion that's the proper direction to take.
