We're in a good place. A couple of times against good teams we had a third-period lead and we gave it up. We learned the lesson and put the pieces together.

It could be a good thing. We could sneak up on some teams. It's easier going as the underdogs.

You don't critique a win. A couple of times we were a little disrupted in our our own end but that always happens when you're with a new partner.

This was huge. We didn't quit. We didn't sulk. We played great in the second half of the first period, and the second period was great. In the third, the work of the first two periods finally paid off.

It's huge to get a win to a) stop the three-game skid and b) to enjoy the next couple of days. The puck just kind of bounced out right in front. I was in perfect position, I think a little bit lucky to be there. I stepped into it and got lucky. It finally went in.

We're just not a good shooting team. When some teams get down double figures a couple of three's can get them right back into it but we don't shoot well from the outside so we can't come back from big deficits. But give Guilford credit. They beat us to every loose ball and out hustled us all game.
