We're just going to treat it cautiously and get him back out there as soon as we can.

I have no qualms about him whatsoever. This guy is going to be one of the best pitchers in the American League within the next three years. I think the world of him. That stuff just happens.

It's unfortunate. Things like that tend to follow [a player], I'd have to agree with that.

You have to get good pitching to beat the Red Sox, period. When they have pitching like they do, you can't expect to come in here and just try to go toe-to-toe with them and beat them 9-8 all the time. You're just not going to do it. So we got a good pitching performance and won tonight.

This is the second game of the year. We have plenty to go. I am not upset. I am not concerned.

We were going to attempt to strike out less, and by striking out less, sometimes you walk more. But I did not think it would get to this point.
