We're just not playing as well as we could right now. We're just kind of laying back and letting them take it to us.

It only takes one or two guys to get things started. This team can hit. I know we were in a slump for a while, but this team can really swing the bats. We showed that today.

Just getting ahead early, I think, was a big key. We came out kind of flat the first two innings. We just stepped it up later in the game and got on them. We kept putting up runs. It's easy to play when you've got a pitcher up there throwing strikes.

I think we're going to surprise some people. Guys have gotten stronger, quicker. I think our offense is going to be a lot better this year. Our defense is going to be very good.

You'll have those times when it's frustrating, and you get frustrated a lot. You've got to know that these guys have been here 28, 29 years. They know what they're talking about. You've just got to listen to him, even though sometimes you get a little frustrated.

I decided it's either do or die right now. And we needed the capital. And nobody else really cared about what we're doing or actually believed in us. So what I decided to do at that point was take out a mortgage on my home.
