We're not going to let that derail us. Our goal is to get better each week. At the end of the season, we'd like to be the best team in the region.

I like it. To me, that's what it's all about. You'd like to be able to win those big games. We're excited about it.

They've matured some. They appear to come off blocks real well and run to the football. Their quarterback runs the offense very well and their kicking game is very strong. They've got a real solid football team.

This starts a tough stretch for us and we can't afford a loss at home. If we want to win (the region) again, we have to win the big games, especially at home. But it won't be easy. Gainesville is really playing well and starting to do some things on offense that will definitely be a challenge for us.

We're prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. I felt like we lost a little bit of our sharpness coming off that open week. That's not an excuse, I just didn't feel like we had the focus that we had the game before against Johnson. I'm glad to have that behind us.

How long the path may be depends for any man on where he stands today and his speed of travel. These are his past and present choosing, but the beginning of the way is here and now, and karma and rebirth are the means of treading it.
