We're not trying to change anyone's mind.

The biggest challenge that we faced is the dramatic change in status of our partner. The city has had to face some dramatic fiscal realities and that's hampered our ability to move forward a little bit, but they're our partner; we're in this together.

I wasn't throwing down a gauntlet, I was trying to change the customer's mind. A lot of these things would have happened anyhow,

The group seemed to land on a bigger-picture agenda.

They're likely to turn dirt the quickest and be opened. This is obviously new terrain for the both of us. The city has never had a college as part of its operations, and we've obviously never tried to operate a municipal library.

I'm just hoping that people will go into it with an open mind. We're not trying to change people's opinions but show a wide range of opinions on this issue.
