We're ready to play that game tomorrow. The kids are excited about that opportunity Monday night.

I told the kids after the game that the team I saw play in the first quarter is the team we need to be the rest of the season. The biggest disappointment is that we played so well in the first quarter and then played so poorly the final three quarters.

We didn't play near our capabilities. It's a bad excuse, but we don't seem to play well late at night (it was a 9 p.m. game). Basically, we got our rear ends kicked. We left people open in front of the net, and they beat us up physically.

I'd imagine half the guys who will play out here will get an opportunity to play in the pre-season competition.

We had a game the night before and I think the kids may have been tired. We didn't play well, and will get another shot at them at our place (April 27).

We've gotten to play the kids that haven't had an opportunity to play a whole lot.
