We're really going to miss having a store at that location. It was so much a part of the immediate community.

At this time we are not going to relocate elsewhere in Napa. We are hoping our loyal customers will make the drive to Fairfield and visit our store in the Solano Mall.

There isn't a specific formula necessarily for these things.

My vision is to see a nice neighborhood with children playing on the street, and people on the porches, with smiles on their faces.

The timing of this actually works out really well. By the time June rolls around, the movie people will be long gone, and we'll still have plenty of time to work on the plaza over the summer.

There's a certain percentage above fair market value that we can offer someone for their property. If they don't like the offer, eminent domain may be the only other option. We frown on the idea of eminent domain, and we've never abused it, but having it in our back pocket brings people to the bargaining table.
