We're seeing loss of interest in school at a younger and younger age.

These are girls just starting to figure out who they are as individuals. who they are as people. They need to be shown that life is a process and our mentors, some of whom are still struggling in their own lives, are great examples.

It?s an unfortunate fact that most kids don?t get the level of support they need at this time in their lives. Girls are starting to become more concerned with their bodies and image. There?s a gender gap we?re trying to eliminate.

I am ashes where once I was fire...

If we can start them at this age and they can take an interest to it and like it, maybe they'll stick around. The biggest thing we try to impose on the coaches and parents is this is when it's fun, and it'll get serious in the seventh grade.

There is something for every age and every interest.
