We're still at a learning point of the season. For some of the runners, this may be their first meet because of spring break.

We've had some just beautiful weather. Then, when it's the day for a track meet, the bad weather comes. I think almost everyone in the meet has only competed in two or three meets.

This will only be our third meet. It has been such a weird season so far.

Anytime there's an opportunity for cross-training and learning something, learn it. Learning beyond their job responsibilities is key for meeting planners.

Really this game was learning patience and grace. The school we played [Briarwood] comes out game after game and never hangs their head. Our girls really understand that it doesn't matter if it was 102-8. Grace and mercy come into play, and that's what I love about coaching at this school is that the kids know that.

That is where all the talk should be done, nowhere else.
