We're still learning what's in the county ordinance. It's a huge education experience for us. None of us know a whole lot about these issues or options.

We saw what they were planning, and it gives us some idea of what some of the issues are.

One learns from books and example only that certain things can be done. Actual learning requires that you do those things.

Most learning is not the result of instruction. It is rather the result of unhampered participation in a meaningful setting. Most people learn best by being "with it," yet school makes them identify their personal, cognitive growth with elaborate planning and manipulation.

I was kind of skeptical at first. But Chris explained it would be a learning experience for all of us.
