We're taught better than we played. We struggled. We knew they'd pass.

It's maddening. I didn't get depressed or hang my head. I was frustrated with myself because I know that I am faster than that. We are better than what we showed today, plain and simple.

Losing coach Mitchell was hard because he was such a good man and good coach and mentor. But coach Hill hasn't lost a beat. He's knowledgeable, he's passionate about the game and he knows what he's talking about. He wants us to be better. We didn't lose anything there. As far as the scheme, it's taken some getting used to ? that happens any time ? but we're learning it quickly. I think it will be a formidable defense when we learn it.

Being consistently good is so important for a football team. Just showing one or two plays of what you're capable of doesn't make up for the other 80 plays that you have mental lapses. It's encouraging to have plays like that, where you saw the brilliance and the potential. But if we can't do that every play it really doesn't matter.

Running is for people that can't manage their time well enough to walk somewhere.

It's going to take a more holistic plan that everyone can ascribe to.
