We're trying to give them all of the moral support we can,

I'm not coaching and trying to win to keep my job, ... I coach for my players and my coaches and for the fans to have success. Someone is going to have success at Vanderbilt. I hope it's me and this staff. This staff has worked extremely hard. But if it's not, I don't coach out of fear of losing my job.

I fully support what the governor is trying to do,

It's off the beaten path. It cannot support mass tourism and I don't think they're trying to attract mass tourism. They want a limited, controlled amount of tourism that won't destroy the character of the place.

I think he (Selig) is probably better able to get support among owners, ... But they're trying to roll back 25 years of labor agreements in one round. I was telling them the best you can do is incremental improvement -  it's going to take a long time to straighten out this. They didn't want to hear that.

I am not pessimistic or optimistic but I am realist about trying to get support from colleagues to the bill.
