We're trying to show these kids love, Christian love. For some of them, this is the only Jesus they're exposed to.

I'm proud of our kids. We battled. We could have hung it up, but that's what we're working on: Trying to get better and keep battling.

The kids aren't trying to do that obviously. But we're not valuing the football.

Our kids have to deal with another loss, and that's the difficult part. I'm trying to tell them how good they are, how good they can be, and that they can reach their goals this year. I believe they still can.

We need to protect the kids by giving them something to do, ... (It's about) making them interested, making them love mom and dad more, love the family more, love themselves more and love their school. So there won't have to be killing in school.
