We've always struggled to score goals. That's why it's been so exciting to see the girls put these type of games together.

They're just a solid team. One- and two-touch everywhere --and high pressure. You better come to play, because if not, you're going to be losing.

She's seen it all and is so dependable. She is ready and willing to play wherever we need her.

The biggest thing is they are all seniors. They were thrown into the fire as freshmen; now, experience is a strength. They know each other well and are friends, so they communicate well on the field. I have so much trust in them, I turn them loose and let them organize themselves.

The girls set individual goals. We fulfilled those goals.

Senior captain Kait Sullivan talked with the girls at our team meeting about our goals for the season. Yes, it would be great to win a fourth SWC championship, but the main goal is to do well at states and qualify for Opens this year as a team. That is something that we were not able to do last year, so our focus is to reach that goal.
