We've been dealing with this (parking issue) since the beginning, and every single councilor knew there was going to be a reduction in parking. There was an error in not filing for the reduction.

I would not support a McDonald's, a Burger King or a Dunkin' Donuts at that site, but this is a restaurant, really. I wish they had waiters and waitresses so it would be a little easier for us to classify it, but for lack of a better term, they're calling it fast food.

We might as well work with them.

The only thing I can say is this seems to be what was asked of the petitioners. You're getting rid of a horrible situation where cars are coming in and out at will.
