We've been treating the site as if it were on the list. This is not going to affect our activities at the site. We've been working on it the last two years.

The department has spent more than $300,000 since 2004 maintaining the site and treating the discharge.

What it provides us is a working plan, a road map for moving ahead.

We expect to have some kind of an agreement soon as to how to address a remedial investigation at those sites.

We made clear to Mr. Morris and others what the materials were. We explained the testing and the state parameters. Yet once it went off the site, it is up to the contractors to make sure it is used properly.

They'll be moving ahead. We're still planning on starting the excavation work in the spring.
