We've been waiting for this all year. It was one of our goals entering the season, to perform well at districts. Now we have one more day and then we look forward to states.

My teammates are great. I am much more of a team person. Winning the district championship was my best moment of the year because it was a team goal.

We defended Roeder very well. We held him to no field goals in the second half. But we put them on the line too much.

We had our chances and at the end, we got some goals. Marietta attacked well, and we gave Marietta too many chances. But we hung in there and scored when we needed to.

We realize we're a long ways from achieving the goals we want this season. It's always good to start with a win, but we've got a lot of other things to accomplish this year. The first one is nice, but the last one is the one everybody remembers.

We have set our goals very high for the season. They include winning the league title, getting into the playoffs, and winning a game in the playoffs. That's what everybody wants.
