We've gone down as far as Manhattan, but I don't ever remember playing in New Jersey. It's a place we're overdue to play.

You can expect fast, barreling punk songs. We have alt-country songs. We have a song that combines jazz organ and a marching band type of drum thing going on. We tend to jump around a lot. We would rather not be pigeonholed.

We recorded the album ourselves. It's a very raw-sounding disc. We got grilled (by critics) for how the album sounds. I was shouting over the mix. I was just trying to be heard. I read reviews that said that my vocals sounded constipated. We're not going to let that happen next time.

The northern New Jersey market has not participated in the recovery as early as the Manhattan market but you are really starting to see performance accelerating.
