We've got a bevy of new kids in the secondary. Some new, some old.

Some of the younger kids are nervous and the older kids are trying to lead them the right way. Every season is exciting because of the different personalities. Hopefully we'll find our way and find what we do best.

We're going to try to be basic in our running game. We have four good runners. So we'll keep fresh legs in there and keep pounding with quick attacks.

We're going to run some split back veer and power stuff. It's kind of a retro look for us.

It makes you tear up a bit just to see that the kids can do something for you. There's one resident who knew that I did not have breakfast, lunch or dinner yesterday. At 10 at night, she was shoving crackers in my pocket telling me to keep my strength up as we were walking through here. I made her take them back, but they try and give back as well too.

Our players and staff learn more than the kids do.
